The CRIS (Current Research Information System) is used by SGUL to help build a complete record of research produced by SGUL. Using the Symplectic software, the CRIS stores data on the research activity of SGUL staff and, by linking to SGUL's insitutional repository, SORA (St George's Online Research Archive) showcases research outputs.

What is the CRIS?

The CRIS is a flexible easy to use system designed to make publications management a straightforward process for both academics and managers. It is also designed to meet the needs of research quality exercises, such as the Research Excellence Framework (REF).

Who has access to the CRIS?

The CRIS is a closed system that is accessible only to SGUL staff and researchers. Full text uploaded in the CRIS, copyright permitting, will be made accessible on SORA
