Self-service borrowing is available during opening hours.

Monday to Friday 6pm - 6am 
Saturday & Sunday 9am - 9pm

Self-service hours refer to periods when the Library is open, but unstaffed.

During self-service hours, you will be able to:  

  • Come into the Library (with a valid ID or library card)
  • Return books in the returns slot outside the Library
  • Borrow and renew items using the self-service system
  • Pay library fines using the self-service system
  • Use computers (with a valid network login)
  • Borrow a self-service netbook
  • Top up your printing/photocopy account
  • Print & photocopy


You will not be able to:

  • Enter without a valid ID or library card
  • Collect reserved books
  • Purchase books from the sale trolley
  • Receive assistance with the computers or printers
  • Obtain a network login (username/password)


For assistance from a member of Library Staff, please visit the Library between 8am-6pm Monday-Friday
